Intro
Welcome to the most fun piano lessons in Rotterdam!
With over 7 years of experience teaching students aged 7 - 65+ . From beginner to advanced.
Over the years I have developed my own method based on existing piano books, pop songs and with a lot of freedom of choice for the student.
For example, you can choose songs that you want to play. These can be pop songs ( Alan Walker ), film music ( Star Wars ) or classical pieces ( Chopin ) to name a few examples.
Students can develop into creative musicians if there is a need for this. See my lessons in composition, songwriting and producing.
Children
For children I often start by playing pop songs by ear. This works well, because they already know many songs and make progress quickly. Then we learn note names, or they play songs from sheet music .
Adults
Adults can choose whether they want to learn to play notes from sheet music, prefer to learn pop songs, or prefer to learn to play chords. I often use existing piano methods to work on technique and reading notes.
