The Creative Music Academy
After more than 7 years of experience teaching piano, it was time for the next step. As a composer and producer, I always dreamed of teaching creative music lessons. In 2024, I completed a master's degree in educational science and wrote a thesis specifically about creativity in music education. For this, I interviewed teachers from various conservatories such as the HKU, Codarts, AHK and the Film Scoring Academy Of Europe. The result is a creative approach to teaching music!
The teacher
As a child I grew up in a musical family of violinists. At the age of five I started with cello lessons, and a few years later with piano. Because I didn't like Mozart that much (and my father did, so he played it quite often) I decided to compose my own music. This led to a classical composition education in Amsterdam. After that I took lessons in pop production (Wisseloord Academy), house/electronic music (Ubeat) and film music (Film Scoring Academy of Europe). In the meantime I have an enormously broad palette of knowledge and skills in all kinds of music styles. I compose for film, theater and sometimes documentaries or commercials.
